Barbara Morris holds degrees in both accounting and law with a distinguished previous 25 year career in forensic accounting and financial investigations. Since being admitted to legal practice in 2019, she has brought a unique depth of financial expertise to her legal work, particularly in complex family law and estate matters.

Barbara works alongside her husband, Bill Morris—a highly regarded criminal lawyer—at Northside Lawyers, where she focuses exclusively on:

  • Matrimonial Property Disputes: Applying her forensic accounting background to ensure full transparency and accountability in the division of assets.
  • Probate and Estate Matters: Guiding clients through the legal process of obtaining probate of Wills and in circumstances where a person has passed away without leaving a Will, obtaining grants of Letters of Administration which provide authority to administer and finalise the deceased person’s estate.
